• Christophersen, Gyda. PhD candidate University of Bergen, Norway. Gyda was a recipient of a MUN/Bergen exchange scholarship (only 3 given in 1998). Under my supervision, she undertook part of her research at the scallop hatchery with Dr. Pat Dabinett and at a scallop farm in Notre Dame Bay. Topic: strategies for enhancing post-larval scallop growth and survival.
• McNeil, Gina. MSc in Aquaculture candidate. Gina is completing her thesis on the influence of food fluxes and mussel production at commercial aquaculture sites.
• Macneill, Sean. MSc in Aquaculture candidate. Sean is conducting experimental work on post-settlement behaviour of mussels in relation to food, space, and environmental conditions.
• Harding, Joanne. MSc in Aquaculture candidate. Joanne is conducting experimental work on alternate stress indicators in mussels with the hopes of improving farm operating practices.
