Congratulations on your acceptance to the Marine Institute!

We're so glad you've decided this is where you want to be! It is my pleasure to welcome you to the Fisheries and Marine Institute of Memorial University of Newfoundland (or the Marine Institute for short) family. This wonderful institution, overlooking the historic city of St. John's, will be your home for the next number of months and years and it is my pleasure to be one of the smiling faces you will meet once you arrive. My name is Rhonda McMeekin and as the Student Liaison Officer with the division of Academic and Student Affairs it will be my job to see that your transition to life at the Marine Institute goes as smoothly as possible.
