Harness the power of your expertise to stand out as an aquaculture management candidate in your organization. The Marine Institute’s new Master of Technology Management (Aquaculture), focuses on strategic planning, decision making, aquaculture technology management, as well as the structure and operation of technology-based organizations. This online, course-based program provides a core of technology and business management courses together with elective options that offer opportunities to focus in particular areas.
Students must complete 30 credit hours of course work. These include two compulsory core courses with an option to complete eight elective courses or six elective courses and a project in aquaculture management. Successful applicants may start the program in the fall, winter or spring semester of an academic year.
Admission to the program is competitive for those professionals working in or intending to enter aquaculture management careers. To be considered for this program, an applicant must meet the general admission requirements of Memorial University’s School of Graduate Studies. Students must also have a post-graduate aquaculture credential, an aquaculture focus in their undergraduate degree or significant professional experience in the aquaculture industry.
