If you are a current undergraduate Memorial University, Grenfell or Labrador Institute student applying for a Technical Certificate, Technician Diploma, Diploma of Technology or Advanced Diploma program, please contact admissions@mi.mun.ca prior to submitting your application.

Our Fire Rescue application will be temporarily closed as we work through our current waitlist. Once this process is complete, applications for the program will reopen at a later date.

The online application takes about 30 minutes to complete. You may start an application, save it, and return to it any time before submitting.

You will need to submit a new online application if you are/were:

• Applying to Marine Institute, Memorial for the first time
• Previously admitted but didn’t register for courses
• Previously enrolled and haven’t registered for courses in more than three consecutive semesters
• Current Marine Institute student applying to a new program of study

As noted in the announcement from the Government of Canada, as of January 22, 2024, every study permit application submitted will also require an attestation letter from a province or territory.
