Are you a high school student interested in designing an operational ship model?‌‌‌‌‌ The Marine Institute's Marine Engineering Systems Design program and Naval Architecture program invite you to participate in the Marine Institute's Annual Model Boat Race.‌‌

High school students are encouraged to enter a team in the 2023 event to be held at the Marine Institute's Ridge Road campus. Teams will work together to build an operational ship model, applying physics and mathematical principles, and competitively race the vessel in the Institute's flume tank.
