Consultation and Feedback

Your input and feedback will be central to the development of the Master Plan, and will help shape the future of the Fisheries and Marine Institute. Throughout the study process, a variety of opportunities will be provided for you to participate in project-related discussions and brainstorming sessions.

Public Visioning Session

Timing - November 20, 2014, 12-2 p.m. (MI Gymnasium)

Purpose - The purpose of the Public Visioning Session will be to provide you with a unique opportunity to meet with a wide range of participants and engage in brainstorming exercises, which will inform the development of a draft Vision and Priority Directions for the facilities which comprise the Fisheries and Marine Institute.

Your Feedback - Your feedback can be provided in a variety of ways, including: signing-up for email notifications, filling out and submitting a written comment sheet, posting your ideas directly on presentation boards via post-it note (which will be provided), participating in both individual and group-based workshop exercises, and approaching and engaging in discussions with a member of the Project Team. Public Open House

Timing - April - May, 2015

Purpose - The purpose of the Public Open House will be to generate awareness of the Fisheries and Marine Institute Master Plan within the campus community by keeping you up to date on the study process, key findings and recommendations, and next steps.

Your Feedback - Your feedback can be provided in a variety of ways, including: signing-up for email notifications, filling out and submitting a written comment sheet, posting your ideas directly on presentation boards via post-it note (which will be provided), engaging in discussions during a question and answer period, and approaching and engaging in discussions with a member of the Project Team. MI Campus Information Booth

Please visit the MI Campus Information Booth in the central atrium of the Ridge Road Campus, as well as the central lobby spaces of the Institute’s other facilities, where you will find a dedicated information display outlining key study information including an overview of the study purpose, objectives, and process along with a summary of recent milestones and a schedule for upcoming opportunities for public input.
