Health and Wellness Operations for the Fall 2021 Semester

We understand that the Health and Wellness facilities on campus including the gymnasium, weight room and cardio area are an important aspect of the on-campus experience for faculty, staff and students. We are working within the health and safety procedures established-on campus to provide access to the cardio and weight room area.

Hours of Operation
11am - 7pm 

9am - 11am

12pm - 1pm

2pm - 7pm 

11am - 4pm  12pm - 7pm  10am - 3pm 
Facility Capacity
  • Maximum number of people in the weight room area is 4.
  • Limited access to cardio equipment as noted in the booking requirements.
Shower Access
  • Shower facility is accessible with a density restriction of three people in this area at any time.
Booking Space
Health and Safety Measures
  • Physical Distance - A distance of 6 feet is required in all areas.
  • Cleaning - All touched surfaces in both cardio and weight room must be Cleaned after each use.
Outdoor Activities
  • Outdoor walks are scheduled every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 12:00-1:30pm. Meet outside the main entrance if weather permits the walk to proceed. Dress appropriately for the weather.

All group cardio, fitness, yoga and spin sessions are currently suspended, and the Gymnasium is currently closed for all group rentals and individual drop- in times.

Normal Operations will resume based on COVID Protocols, restrictions and provincial and institutional epidemiology.

Fitness Class Videos

For those of you who cannot make the virtual fitness class during its scheduled time, the classes will be recorded and uploaded to Rose's Virtual Fitness Channel on Stream: Videos will be uploaded after every class and available for 24 hours.
