Multifactor Authentication (also known as MFA) is an extra layer of protection to help you keep your account secure. Continue reading below to learn more about the Marine Institute’s Multifactor Authentication Program.

What is Multifactor Authentication?

Multifactor Authentication (MFA) is a secondary level of authentication designed to determine if it is really you signing into your account. By using your smartphone or a phone number, threat actors are deterred from accessing your account as MFA utilizes what you have or what you know to determine if it is truly you. How do I get started with MFA?

Getting started with Multifactor Authentication is simple. Please view the video below or read the guide to enroll yourself into MFA using Microsoft Authenticator:
