The client base of the Centre for Aquaculture and Seafood Development (CASD) includes:

• seafood and food processing companies
• aquaculture companies
• provincial and federal government
• fish harvesters
• biotechnology companies
• supply industries to these sectors

CASD has developed long-term relationships with clients, as opposed to purely fee-for-service contracts, ensuring clients progress through the product development continuum from the idea stage through to the proof-of-concept and pre-commercialization stages.

These include relationships whereby the Centre serves as the research arm for a number of seafood and aquaculture companies.
