The Centre for Aquaculture and Seafood Development (CASD) has formed a number of strategic partnerships with organizations that compliment the Centre's internal capabilities.

Within Memorial University CASD has collaborated with the:

• Faculty of Engineering
• Department of Ocean Sciences
• Departments of Biology,Biochemistry and Chemistry

CASD works extensively with the provincial government's Department of Fisheries, Forestry and Agriculture, Memorial University's Canadian Centre for Fisheries Innovation and the National Research Council to conduct research related to the harvesting, processing and aquaculture sectors that will assist the provincial fishing and aquaculture industry as it strives to become more innovative and competitive.
