Faculty and Staff Giving

The Marine Institute’s faculty, staff and retirees help students every day. Giving through payroll or pension deduction is another meaningful way to show that we believe in our students, the importance of higher education and the Institute’s vision to guide Newfoundland and Labrador to the world through global leadership in applied oceans education and research.

You can set up your payroll deduction online, by mail, or in person:

Online: Log onto my.mun.ca and go to the "Employee Services" tab to find the "Faculty and Staff Giving" online donation form and set up your payroll gift. You can also make a one-time gift through our online giving form.

By mail: Download and complete the pledge form and send it to the Department of Development and Engagement by internal mail.

In-person: Kindly contact so that we can set-up a call or in-person meeting with you.

Please note, donations through payroll or pension deductions will be noted on your annual T4(A) slip for your tax return. One-time gifts made by cheque or credit card are recipted right away; recurring gifts through credit card are receipted at the end of the fiscal year.
