How Will My Mentor And I Communicate?

It is up to you and your mentor to decide how you would like to communicate with each other — in person, email, text messaging, online social networks, etc — or any combination of these. We encourage you to communicate using whatever means works best for you. Please note that in person meetings will take place at MI.

How Much Time Will It Take?

There is no set time commitment that you are required to make to meet with your mentor. Mentoring works around your schedule, based on your current needs. It is up to you how often you want to meet or contact your mentor.

Will My Instructors or Coordinator Know What I Talk To My Mentor About?

This is a confidential relationship, so anything you say to your mentor will stay between you and your mentor.

If you wish to request a mentor, complete a mentorship application. It will take 60 seconds! You will be contacted by program staff within 24 hours.

Have a great semester!
