Dr. Paul Brett is the interim deputy provost (Marine Institute) and executive director (professional and continuing education).

An important role of the Office of the Deputy Provost (Marine Institute) and Executive Director (Professional and Continuing Education) is to align the activities, operations, budget policies and administration structures with the Marine Institute’s mission and Vision 2041 strategic plan “To the World” and Memorial University’s strategic plan “Transforming Our Horizons”.

The Deputy Provost (Marine Institute) and Executive Director (Professional and Continuing Education) is a senior leadership position with strategic management responsibility that reports directly to the provost.
