NL Applicants Missing Requirements

Are you missing admission requirements to the program you applied for at the Marine Institute based on your final high school transcript? Do you want to maintain your registration eligibility until your admission status is resolved?

Here's what you can do...
  • If your high school transcript contains errors
    • Contact the Department of Education or your school immediately to investigate. Any changes will automatically be forwarded to the Marine Institute until Friday, August 5, 2016
  • If you plan to write a supplementary exam in August
    • Contact Admissions before Friday, August 5, 2016
  • If you think you have grounds for special admission
    • Forward your request for special admission with all supporting information before Friday, August 5, 2016 to:

The Marine Institute will monitor your records with the Department of Education until Friday, August 1, 2014 for changes that affect your eligibility. If you meet admission requirements for final acceptance you will be contacted immediately.

College of the North Atlantic Comprehensive Arts and Science (CAS) Transition

Students who meet the requirements for a high school diploma but are not eligible for final acceptance to the Marine Institute may complete the College of the North Atlantic CAS Transition program. Following completion of the CAS Transition program, applicants can apply for admission to the Marine Institute.
