NL Applicants Missing Requirements
Are you missing admission requirements to the program you applied for at the Marine Institute based on your final high school transcript? Do you want to maintain your registration eligibility until your admission status is resolved?
Here's what you can do...
- If your high school transcript contains errors
- Contact the Department of Education or your school immediately to investigate. Any changes can be forwarded to the Marine Institute.
- If you plan to write a supplementary exam in August
- Contact Admissions to notify them as soon as possible.
- If you think you have grounds for special admission.
- Forward your request for special admission with all supporting information to admissions@mi.mun.ca
The Marine Institute will monitor your records with the Department of Education for changes that affect your eligibility. If you meet admission requirements for final acceptance you will be contacted immediately.
Students who meet the requirements for a high school diploma but are not eligible for final acceptance to the Marine Institute may complete the College of the North Atlantic CAS Transition program. Following completion of the CAS Transition program, applicants can apply for admission to the Marine Institute.
