The Fire Fighting Facility and Outdoor Test tank is located in Foxtrap, NL. It offers a large, environmentally secured fire field complete with marine, offshore petroleum, helicopter, and industrial pressure fire simulators, stair tower with high-angle rescue and vertical extraction capability over three stories in height and confined space environment.

The Safety and Emergency Response Training (SERT) Centre, located in Stephenville, is one of the premiere fire training facilities in Canada with the capability and equipment to provide Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting, Structural, Marine and Industrial Firefighting Training.
