Orientation for First-Year Students
Welcome to the Marine Institute Start Up page. Explore this page before we Start Up the school year! If you have any questions, please contact orientation@mi.mun.ca.
Our faculty and staff are so excited to welcome students back to campus and we look forward to seeing you at Orientation on Tuesday, September 3rd, 2024 from 9:00AM to 3:30PM. When you arrive, you can enter through the main entrance where you will be greeted by the Student Union, volunteers, and MI staff.
If this is your student’s first year at the Marine Institute, you are invited to the Parent and Supporter Orientation happening at our Ridge Road campus on Monday, September 2nd, 2024 from 10:00AM to 12:30PM.
The Fire Rescue orientation will be on Tuesday, September 3rd, 2024 starting 9:00AM. This orientation is mandatory for all fire rescue students. If you have any questions or require more information, please contact Janice Murphy at Janice.Murphy@mi.mun.ca.
