All new students are required to complete four short, non-credit courses to help you understand important policies and expectations at MI. They are easy to complete and help set you up for success. These are available via Brightspace and can be completed before classes begin. Important reminder that without these courses completed you will not be able to enter any laboratories on campus.
More information is available here: https://www.mi.mun.ca/departments/officeoftheregistrar/mandatorycourses/
If you require assistance completing these courses, please reach out to studentsupport@mi.mun.ca or labsafety@mun.ca.
You can rent a locker for the academic year by visiting the bookstore. Lockers can be rented for $20 for an academic year with a deposit refund of $10 when lockers are cleaned out and locks returned to the store. Please check the Services section of the MI Campustore webpage for the Locker Form. Email your form to campusstore@mi.mun.ca or bring a printed copy when you visit the store to receive your locker assignment and lock.
We recommend waiting until student has gone to classes before purchasing textbooks. You will need to have your appropriate books, lab manuals and supplies for your courses after the first day. Booklists, kits and supplies required for your program are now available on the MI website, under the MI Campustore page.
Students will be added to a Welcome Aboard!
