Students at the Fisheries and Marine Institute of Memorial University will receive diplomas, advanced diplomas and certificates during the 2025 graduation ceremony scheduled for 2 p.m. on Friday, June 20
The event takes place in the gymnasium of the Marine Institute’s Ridge Road campus in St. John’s.
The ceremony will include remarks from Earl Ludlow, chancellor, Memorial University; Dr. Paul Brett, vice-president, Memorial University (Marine Institute) pro tempore; and Jasmine Burt, student speaker who is graduating from the marine environmental program in the School of Fisheries.
As part of MI’s graduation celebration activities, students, friends and family are invited to share their graduation congratulations, photos and special moments using the hashtag #MIgrad2025. You can find the Marine Institute’s social media channels on Instagram and Facebook.
The ceremony will be broadcast live on www.mi.mun.ca beginning at 2 p.m. (NDT) and archived on the Marine Institute’s YouTube channel for future viewing.
