Fire Rescue
Last date - Students in Fire Rescue to drop courses and receive 100% refund of tuition fees and student union fees for winter semester
Last date to opt out of health and/or dental insurance for in the Winter Semester. No student union fees will be refunded after this date

The International Youth Internship Program (IYIP) is accepting applications for four-month internships that begin in May

Eligible applicants must be 18-30 years old at the start date of the internship and Canadian citizens or permanent residents.

The program is jointly implemented by the Atlantic Council for International Cooperation and the Marine Institute. It offers youth the opportunity to gain valuable international work experience through internships with partner organizations in Africa, the Caribbean, Asia and Central America.
Global Affairs Canada’s Office of International Development recently announced $24.5 million in funding for International Youth Internships Programs across Canada. It included $4.23 million for a project jointly implemented by the ACIC and the Marine Institute.
This IYIP joint project will place 190 interns with 22 partner organizations in 15 countries. Priority will be given to racialized, Indigenous, and 2SLGBTQIA+ youth, and youth who have experienced barriers to employment due to COVID-19.
