Two new microsites were introduced this week on the Marine Institute's website, giving users increased access to information and services on campus
The School of Ocean Technology home page www.mi.mun.ca/sot features a rotating billboard where visitors can explore the school’s program options, learn about its various research projects, and find out about the school’s activities in the community. The easy-to-navigate menu also directs users to the school’s faculty and staff, industry resources and research facilities.
Visitors to the Information and Communication Technologies site www.mi.mun.ca/ict can access the wide range of services the unit provides to Marine Institute’s students, external clients, faculty and staff and campuses. Users can get information on upcoming network outages, contact the help desk and read about the department’s latest activities. Got a question about your email or computer account? Consult the department’s Frequently Asked Questions section to make the most of your communications and computing experience.
The new microsites were developed by the School of Ocean Technology and ICT in collaboration with Marketing and Business Development. Other departments and units are expected to come online later this fall.
