What Will I Learn?

The Marine Institute’s ROV Operator program is the only program of its kind in Canada.

This program will provide you a solid grounding in electronics, mechanical technology, and workplace safety. Through classroom instruction, hands-on learning, simulation, and workplace training, you will become an expert at operating, maintaining, and repairing ROV systems.

Admission Requirements

Applicants must meet Marine Institute’s Application and Admission Regulations and proof of physical fitness through a valid medical certificate and a criminal records check are required.

An advanced standing option is available pending application review and approval. Students who complete the two-year Remotely Operated Vehicles diploma can continue into the Underwater Vehicles program.
