Program Description

Among the things we'll teach you are:

  • To design piping and support systems that allow marine vehicles to operate safely and efficiently in harsh marine environments;
  • To use the latest marine design software to specify, select and design marine systems; and
  • To design and select propulsion systems, from diesel engines and gas turbines to propellers and water jets.

Once you've completed the program and honed these skills, you'll be able to choose among many exciting careers, at home or around the world.

Program Structure

This three -year program consists of six in-class semesters and three technical sessions.

  • First year: Two academic terms followed by a technical session.
  • Second year: On-campus study involving the completion of a technical project.
  • Third year: On-campus study involving the completion of a technical project.

Adherence to our Application and Admission Regulations either upon high school graduation (following a period of employment subsequent to graduation), or by transfer from another post-secondary institution.
