Course Description

This course is designed to provide the participant with the sufficient knowledge, understanding and proficiency to make appropriate decisions in complex navigational situations, to manage the bridge watchkeeping team in a simulated environment, and to comply with the Bridge Watchkeeping arrangements and principles to be observed set out in STCW Regulation VIII/2 and STCW Code Section A-VIII/2

8.0 Navigation and Collision Avoidance in or Near Vessel Routing Systems
9.0 Maneuver a Ship in all Conditions
10.0 Distress Situations
