Course Description

This is a practical course in plotting using plotting sheets, charts, RADAR and ARPA. The course is intended to provide an opportunity for students to increase their level of proficiency in the mechanics of using the parallel rule and divider as well as the equipment on the RADAR and ARPA. The course will also introduce the student to the essential information and tools required to detect and recognize ice through effective watchkeeping practices.
