Prerequisites

Advanced Medical First Responder Level I (40 Hour)
NOTE: Certification will not be received for Technician Level until successful completion of Operations Level;
also Certification for Operations Level will not be received until successful completion of Awareness Level.

Course Description

This is a Technical Rescuer Course that introduces the student to the theoretical, practical, and advanced aspects of Vehicle Rescue Techniques. This course incorporates the Awareness, Operations, and Technician Level requirements to meet the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 1006: Standard for Technical Rescue Personnel Professional Qualifications, 2017 Edition – Chapter 8 Vehicle Rescue
