Prerequisites

Fire Pumper Driver/ Operator (FIRE 0030) or a completed and acceptable SERT Pumper/ Aerial Checklist;
Valid Driver’s License

Course Description

This course is designed to provide students with the opportunity to: - perform routine tests, inspections and servicing of aerial apparatus. - maneuver, position and stabilize aerial apparatus. - maneuver and position the aerial device from each control station - lower an aerial device using emergency operating system. - deploy and operate an effective master stream. Students will engage in training scenarios using different types of aerial apparatus and aerial devices.
