Prerequisites

Course Description

This course is designed to provide students with standards for familiarization and basic safety training as well as competencies to cope with such hazards and emergencies to the extent appropriate to their functions onboard passenger-carrying vessels. It will also provide seafarers with an understanding of measures to be taken in order to ensure safe operation of passenger-carrying vessels. A CDN # is required for this course.  If you do not have a CDN # please contact the nearest Transport Canada office as soon as possible.
