Course Description

The purpose of this course is to provide participants with thorough knowledge, at the management level as a senior Deck officer, of the content, application, and intent of the International Regulations for Preventing Collisions  at sea, 1972 with Canadian modifications 1983; and, thorough knowledge of the content, application and intent of the Principles to be observed in keeping a navigational watch as detailed in the STCW Code section A-VIII/2 and the Canadian Notices to Mariners –Annual Edition.
