Prerequisites
Applicants must have obtained a certificate of competency at a minimum level of 4th class Engineer, STCW endorsed.
As well, applicants must have completed a minimum of 6 months of sea service as engineer in charge of an engineering watch or in charge of machinery onboard a vessel of at least 750 KW.
Course Description
This course is designed to provide knowledge of corrective actions to be taken in problem solving related to the deteriorating function of ship machinery.
