Prerequisites

English language proficiency. Participants will be expected to develop and deliver sample lessons using the English language.

Course Description

This course trains mariners to instruct in post-secondary teaching and learning environments. It provides an overview of adult teaching and learning methods, instructional delivery styles and strategies, assessment goals, and course development and design according to the IMO's Model Course 6.l09 Training Course for Instructors, 2017.
