Dynamic Positioning-DPO Preparation or Dynamic Positioning-Induction & Watchkeeping Mate Certificate or equivalent. or Navigation Cadet enrolled in a regulated training program.
This course is designed to provide the ships officer with theory and practical simulator experience relating to ship maneuvering of shuttle tankers in port, confined waters and at offshore installations. The use of anchors and ship maneuvering using tugs is also covered.
