Course Description

This is a safety awareness and person overboard emergency response course for persons who work at or on Canadian government regulated docks or wharves in Newfoundland. It is intended to introduce the participants to the hazards involved with working on docks in Newfoundland, the safety features that should be in place there, and techniques for recovering oneself or another from the water after accidentally falling overboard.
