Certificate of Achievement Industry Canada - ROC-MC Operator Certificate

This course provides participants with the knowledge and practical skills to effectively operate and communicate using the Global Maritime Distress and Safety System, as outlined in the International Maritime Organization's Resolution A 769 (18).

Students will:

• know the basic features of the maritime mobile service
• know how to operate basic ship station equipment
• be able to follow GMDSS system and subsystem operational procedures
• relate theoretical knowledge of GMDSS to practical communication procedures
