Registration begins online (7:00 P.M.) - Fall term for diploma of technology, diploma, advanced diploma, post-graduate certificate and technical certificate programs.
Students who have been accepted and conditionally accepted into programs requiring the submission of medicals and/or letters of conduct will not be permitted to register for classes unless satisfactory copies of the required medicals and/or letter of conduct have been received by the Registrar's Office

For those meeting Prerequisite (A): MI DP Revalidation Certificate of Achievement
For those meeting Prerequisite (B): MI Refresher and Competency Assessment Certificate of Achievement
Prerequisite (A) – DPO Certificate issued by the Nautical Institute (NI) and less than 30 days DP seatime.
NOTE:
For purposes of DP Certificate revalidation, the course may be completed up to twelve months before the DPO certificate expiry date set by the NI.
Prerequisite (B) – DPO Certificate issued by the Nautical Institute (NI) and more than 30 days DP seatime. For purposes of DP certificate revalidation, the course may be completed up to six months before the revalidation date set by the NI.
The course is intended for those who have already been issued a DPO certificate from The Nautical Institute (NI) but are unable to revalidate their DPO certificate due to insufficient DP sea time. The course is also intended for those who have already been issued a DPO certificate from the NI and, having sufficient sea time, are choosing the NI approved option of completing a course to revalidate their certificate. The course will update the DPO’s with latest developments within the DP industry. The course will include both theoretical lectures and practical exercises on a DP simulator which will allow the student to plan and carry out a variety of DP operations as well as observe and develop responses to various emergency and failure situations.
