Sir Wilfred Grenfell College

Sir Wilfred Grenfell College is distinguished by a comfortable, friendly atmosphere and small class sizes. The college's four buildings house administrative, academic and recreational areas, a 196-room student residence, a dining hall, computer and science laboratories, a library, the Forest Centre, a bookstore, and bright, modern studios.

Two four-year fine arts degree programs in visual arts and theatre are available here. The college also offers unique inter-disciplinary bachelor of arts degrees in English, psychology, and cognitive, environmental or historical studies, as well as a bachelor of science degree in environmental science. Grenfell is also home to Memorial's two-year forestry program; students complete their degrees at the University of New Brunswick. You may also choose to complete the first two years of other undergraduate degrees at the college before attending either the St. John's campus or another university.

The College overlooks the city of Corner Brook and the Bay of Islands. Corner Brook, Newfoundland's second-largest city, is a 10-minute drive from the Marble Mountain ski resort, and an hour-and-a-half drive from Gros Morne National Park.
